Projects on the Tempelhofer Feld
The Rübezahl Community Garden is a garden, playground, nature lab, concert space and meeting place for the neighborhood.
As one of three community gardens in the eastern part of Tempelhofer Feld, the Rübezahl e.V. community garden has been promoting biodiversity in the city since 2011 and makes nature tangible for young and old.
The members of the association build and plant their raised beds and are rewarded with buzzing insects, chirping birds, colourful flowers and their own vegetables.
But even beyond the idea of communal gardening, the Rübezahl Community Garden sees itself as a place of encounter and togetherness: here people discuss, make music, meditate, juggle, play and picnic together.
To prevent this beautiful place for all from being destroyed by rubbish, vandalism, theft and, above all, construction, the Rübezahl Community Garden depends on everyone's support. Tempelhofer Feld for all!
